TSUNAINA AT THE V&A MUSEUM
PRESENTED BY DIET PARATHA

Performance Direction  + Set Design

Year: 2025
London

Our first public performance in London, brought to life with the visionary artist Tsunaina, inside the Raphael Cartoon Gallery at the V&A curated by Diet Partha.

Inspired by Tsunaina’s song Tissues, the material became more than paper flesh and feeling, grief and gesture. Tissue as organ. Tissue as what we reach for when we can’t hold it in.

I designed a sea of red, each rose hand-crafted from paper like the ones my dad used to make for my mom. A soft offering. A memory sculpted into form.

Each piece held weight of heartbreak, of softness, of what remains. A landscape that accumulated to a sea of red texture.

We wrapped her in a cocoon that unraveled slowly, revealing transformation in motion.  The red fabric created an extension of metamorphisis and drama.
